And the Slam Dunk Contest Winner is....

Shannon Brown. This dude is the perfect height for a flashy and power dunker, plus he has hops. If this dude plays smart and does some amazing dunks he is going to win.

All Hail James Cameron

This man has the two highest grossing films of all time. Both films getting close to 2 billion, and Avatar might possibly reach that mark. While I did not like Titanic there is not denying the impact that it had. And I love Avatar and again there is no denying the impact that this movie is having. This dude has been apart of some of the biggest and most influential movies of our time. Every must give up the props to this guy.

Sorry Booty Butt Rappers

I am trying to figure out how this booty rapper got this immense beat. Definitely one of the best beats I have ever heard.

One Thing I Trully Miss About Atlanta

If there is one thing that I truly miss about Atlanta it is the random dance routines. Dudes in Atlanta be making all kind of dance routines. And they are all ways random, sometimes you get the hoodest dudes ever making up dances.

Lupe Fiasco x Kenna x Mike Shinoda - Resurrection

Lupe Fiasco x Kenna x Mike Shinoda - Resurrection

Nahright is on point for having this up. And like they said this is a good look. The music that I have been hearing is pretty top quality. The Linkin Park, Kenna, Mike Shinoda, and Pharrell, and the Lupe, Kenna, and Mike Shinoda songs are on point.

Not A Good Look

All I can really do is black guy from Jack In The Box Bowl Cut Commercial SMH, this. If this is how High School girls are getting down then we are in a serious bind. I do not care if this is a joke, she looks like a ho either way. I hope her parent do not see this.

Hi my name is LBJ the J stands for Jumpman

From sneaker news, I guess everybody wanna be like Mike.

Happy Martin Luther the Kang Jr Day

"Today we celebrate Martin Luther the King defeating racist Godzilla and White Supremist King Kong in a steal cage match for Civil Rights." A Tweet of mine.

But honestly lets not forget what this man was about, and where he hoped that we would go.

Goin In

A lot of people posted this already but I felt like it was necessary for me to do it again, because Drake and Lil Wayne should take note from this. Keith is goin in.

"I'm white"

First let me tell you a story about something that happened when I was at work on Friday.

"I was talking to the kids about Martin Luther King and segregation. So I was telling them how the black kids would not have been able to go to Harding the school that I work at, and then I was like some of the Hispanic kids might not be able to go either. So they go into an uproar and s...he yells out "But I'm white, me and my family are white."

As soon as she said this I was like WTH? This girl is Mexican and looks like a little Pocahantas.

I am thinking what White People do you know that look like you. And not only that but also talk you. Now I did not get on her about this because she is a child so she her perspective is probably slightly skewed. It just made me think about something. Because I have notice that there are a few people of color who sometimes think they are white. Some parents from different countries that are not in Europe sometimes even tell their children that they are white. So I am starting to think what is the benefit of being a minority and obviously not looking anything like a white person but thinking that you are white?

One week of Twitter on my belt.

So I just finished my first week on Twitter. I have become pretty proactive on it, but at the same time I still have love for facebook. And also I am unsure if I am truly accomplishing things on twitter. While on facebook you want to get friend request it is not the most important thing it is not about who has the most friends. On facebook there are some many things that are important. However on Twitter the name of the game is to get as many followers as you possibly. Right now I am at sixteen, failing. Maybe things will pick up. I have had fun sharing some of my thoughts. Most of my comments will probably just be really random thoughts.

Rules To Tourism

Never ask a Thai woman to have sex with you if they are not a prostitute, and never fight back.

Man they were going in with feet. I hate to bring this up but sometimes it seems like all Asian people know some form of martial arts. It is like it is ingrained into their genes or something.

Wow

This is definitely one of my favorite Kings Of Leon songs, and Natasha has made it her own. She is truly awesome.

Goodbye 2000's, this is some of the music you introduced me to, thank you pt. 1

So we are headed into a new decade, time has come to look back at the things that we have done this past decade. I have to decide to do some post about some of the music that I can to know and love this decade. I will start with some of my favorite music in this first.

Bloc Party

Banquet

This is the first song of theirs that I heard, and from this moment on I was enthralled. This is a truly complete no one person truly dominates this band. While Kele and Russell definitely stand out, Gordon and Matt always hold their own. They make songs that just live you and you identify. You may not always know exactly what Kele is talking about but you always feel it.

One More Chance

Bat For Lashes

Whats a girl to do?

When I first heard this song I was drawn into. Natasha just hypnotize you with her voice in this. Bat For Lashes has that very eceltic sound that I love. Natasha seems to draw her songs from the spirits of nature around her and it definitely works.

Daniel

(Not the real video but still awesome).

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Maps

Hearing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs can bring out so many different emotions in a person. This song will definitely pull some of them out of you. Karen O's voice is spectacular and to me Brian Chase is one of the best drummers ever.

Down Boy

Asian Kung-Fu Generation

Rewrite

The fist time I heard this band was while I was watching one of my favorite animes. There was just something about their sound. I can honestly say that I still have no idea what a lot of their songs are about or even what they mean in English, but that has not stopped me from listening to them. Hearing Masafumi Gotō scream in Japanese can be kind of awesome at times. Oh yeah they have a pretty good drummer in Kiyoshi Ijichi

After Dark

Linkin Park

Faint

This is the music that I listen to when I want to do something hype. If I was about to get into a fight I would want some Linkin Park to be. They always bring the energy. Chester just knows how to scream at people.

Place For My Head

(I could see a riot breaking out during this song)

Kings Of Leon

On Call

I just started listening to Kings Of Leon but they are definitely in my top five for groups of the decade. Their sound is so revolutionary. It comes from so many different places. There is definitely a little bit of everything in there. If you like it soft they can bring it soft or they can bring it hard if you need them to. And "Closer" is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard.

Closer

Silversun Pickups

Lazy Eye

Just starting listening to them a week ago. I have been wondering to myself how I neglected them. They get some comparison to Nirvana and I definitely see it. They pretty much have everything that you need. Including one of the greatest and most intense drummers I have ever heard Christopher Gualano. I have yet to hear a bad song from them, and it feels like I may not hear one.

Rusted Wheel

The Royal We

I may have posted one of this videos before but I felt like I needed to again, this band is awesome to the max.

Three Days Grace

Animal I Have Become

Another that when you hear them you want to do something insane. This is one of the many bands that I was introduced through anime and manga. This is one of those bands that knows how to scream you.

One X

And so ends part one, part two maybe coming over the weekend. So my question to you is what were your bands of the decade?

Daft Hands

This is one of the most creative yet simple videos that I have ever seen.

Death Of Money

Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that Cash Money and Young Money are pulling the same ish that Dame Dash did before the Roc crash? I feel like there are at least fifty groups on that roster(half of them trash). So I wonder how are they going to put out all of these people. Dame use to talk about CDs dropping every month and they never did. At one point I think Dame had the whole rap industry signed to Roca-Fella. If you look at who all was in state property that is their whole label roster. So now Baby and Lil Wayne are doing the same thing. They are just signing up random people. Bow Wow, Omarion(for a minute), Llyod is probably going to sign, and now there is talk of Freeway joining the ranks. Half of the people on this label have to know that their albums are not dropping. They will probably get some money off of tours and appearances. The only people who have a truly legitimate chance at dropping and doing something are Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Bow Wow.

Anybody who knows will remember that Dame had State Property, Dipset, Rocafella London or something like that, Nicole Wray, MOP, Twista, ODB, Samantha Ronson, and like hekka other people on the roster, that we knew about. I did not feel like finding all of these people.

Wait I just remember that Baby has done this before. I remember when Tina Marie was with Cash Money, Boo and Gotti and some other people.

Thank You!!!

To all five of the people who are following me in this journey I would just like to say thank. Hopefully we can add more people to think growing family.

Tell a friend to tell a friend to tell and enemy to tell a friend to follow this blog.

Greatest SMH in history.

I do not know if it is just the haircut or the look on his face, but this has to be the greatest SMH I have ever seen in my life, in the history of the world, maybe the history of the universe.

Why I love Karen O

To much to handle

I now have a twitter, a facebook and a blog. So I wonder will I be able to really maintain this. Luckily for me, I do not have a job that requires me to do too much outside of work. Also I am not in school and that means no homework, so I have time to dedicate to these things. Wait is that a good thing?

And the person to thank for me getting a twitter is Teka Marie.

For the Love of Elevation

I remember talking to one of my homeboys about college basketball not having any highlights. But oh my wow. This was insane.

You Fail...and you....you....you too....and especially you

Found this on youtube randomly. A lot of these actually seem like they are near death experiences. The one that was extremely messed up was the dude falling into the grave. My favorite ones were the guy getting roundhouse kicked. The cat getting tossed, and the biker trying to grind over the bum. Some good stuff in here.

Paul Mooney....What more can I say

DEAD... Paul Mooney is a fool for this. But honestly he is telling the truth like he usually does. The stuff about Taylor Swift was true, and Beyonce as well. And he just continues to drop knowledge through out this interview.

The Greatest Band I've Never Heard Of....Until This Week

I am truly befuddled, shocked, amazed, bewildered, at a loss for words, and dumbstruck to realize that Silversun Pickups might be one of the greatest bands I have ever heard and I just started listening to them this week. It utterly insane that I never listened to them and they were right under my nose. The first I had truly heard from them was Lazy Eye on my Rock Band app. But this was not enough. I loved that song but it still did not motivate me to take a gander into the Silversun Pickups catalog. It was not until I was on a return flight from San Diego after visiting my girlfriend. I was flying Virgin America, and they have the entertainment systems on those flights. I was flipping through some of the stuff they had, videos, movies, games and some other stuff when I stumbled upon Silversun Pickups "Substitution". This was the red pill that led me down the rabbit hole, and led me into the world of Silversun Pickups. I can honestly say that I have not heard a bad song from them. Every song has had its own epicness. From Brians eerie and emotional vocals to Christopher's insane skills on the drums. This band basically has all the pieces that they need. Here is a taste of some of the magic that they have created.

Future Foe Scenarios

Rusted Wheel

Panic Switch

Catch and Release

They remind me a lot a lot of Nirvana in some of their riffs and style. Also though not completely I feel like Brian could be compared to Curt and Christopher could be compared to Dave Grohl.

From Germany with Love

I remember the first time I heard this in German class. It made me realize that it was in my destiny to learn German. Though I may only remember a small pinch of German I was also remember this song. And honestly I could only tell you a few things that he is saying. At times I wonder why they never got big in America, this is a genius song.

This video is kind of a picture translation.

Why Michael Cera is the greatest

This dude is a genius for this.

Can anyone really fill that Mohawk and all those gold chains.

So they are coming out with a new A-Team movie. I did not know what to think about it when I first heard of this, because that was such a classic show, and it seems it would be hard to translate the magic that they had the TV show into a movie. When I first heard about this movie the main concern was who could truly capture the personality that was Sergeant Bosco Albert "B.A." (Bad Attitude) Baracus. Played excellently by Mr. T. There is no replacing him. There were rumors that it was going to be Ice Cube, but i guess he is making another Are We There Yet? Then it was the Game. I thought yeah he just might be crazy enough to do but he cannot really act so I do not know, plus he was in Belly 2 which I heard is one of the worst movies ever. Then there was 50 Cent too, though this was probably some beef he had with the Game, and I thought "yeah this movie is going to suck". But when they finally decided on who would be filling Mr. T shoes or should i say Mohawk, it was a definite head scratcher. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would be playing BA. Upon first hearing this I did not know what to think and I was just scratching my head. But after watching the Ultimate Fighter and seeing how much of a character this dude was I thought maybe just maybe it could work. But at the same time when I saw a poster that looked super cheesy I thought fail. But then I saw this.

It looks pretty decent. Though it seems as though Rampage has not developed the personality that Mr. T had, but I doubt they will do that. They will probably try and create a new look BA. One thing that can be said is that they have surrounded Rampage with talent so if he cannot do anything then the other will be able to. Lets see how this works out.

Let me also add that a lot of dudes in Atlanta should be thanking Mr. T. He is one of the dudes who made, if not the dude who made it cool for black guys to wear Mohawks.

Shoe wish list

Ok, I do a lot of window shoe shopping. I go on ebay, check out sneakernews.com just to see what shoes will be dropping soon. I know for a minute I have been saying that there is only one pair of Jordans that I really want, well that has just changed. But I definitely still want the Spiz'ikes Fresh Since 85 but I have seen another pair that I would definitely love to purchase. Along with the J's there is another shoe that I have taken some interest in.

Spiz'ike Fresh Sine 85

I know that I have posted a pic of these before but I had to do it again. And I will be getting these come Feb.

Jordan IX

The ones that come out in July are the ones that I want. Unless I loss my job or something drastic is going on I will probably be getting these.

Lebron Air Max VII Red Carpet

I do not know what it is about these shoes, but there is something that makes me want to buy them. Maybe it is the color scheme or something. Though these might be more of a wish, because the only way to find these is eBay and it does not seem like people want to let them go for cheap.

It's 2010 lets get clean

It's 2010 a new decade we need to start moving forward and doing things in a new way. Lets get rid of all this ancient cursing and move onto something more flashy and awesome. In this new decade people should be using foul language like this :

"You lint-licker". Awesome. If that is not you fancy then they have this.

"Eat spatuchla and die".

If everybody had a foul mouth like this the world would be such a better place.

The Jay-Z Code

This has to be one of the hardest tracks on the Blueprint 3. To me this is also the best video he has put out in a minute. But at the same time there are some heavy images in it. The two that really stand out to me are crucifix with the bullets beside, and the skull of the goat with giant horns that just comes out of nowhere. Seeing this i start to think that Jay really may be on that Masons ish or some secret society type stuff. There are some other very interesting images in there as well. Especially the two white dudes, the one who has on the face paint, as well as the one who looks like the Crow. But I guess Jay is rich so this might be some of the stuff that he is into.

Monthly John Witherspoon

So this is my first post of the new decade. It will be something pretty simple, I will probably come back later and do something a little more special. But anyways I bring to you some monthly John.

This commercial is funny only because it is John Witherspoon, and it is kind of random.

"30 inches is that big?". That line is super simple but so funny.
